Congrats DPhiE!!!! (Fall-Winter 2009-2010)
Delta Phi Epsilon partnered with Sigma Phi Epsilon and a local franchise, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory for the first annual '65 Roses for Cystic Fibrosis" Valentine's Day roses and chocolate sale. The event was advertised around campus and was a huge hit. We pre-ordered all of the roses and chocolate and had both pick up and delivery services on Valentine's Day weekend. We personally packaged all of our flowers with the help of our dedicated volunteers. We had over $5,700 in sales, and over $800 in donations from family, friends, and alumni. In the end we raised over $3,200 for Cystic Fibrosis. The event was a huge success and we hope to continue it next year!
Giving Back to the Community
The Delta Eta chapter of Delta Phi Epsilon actively supports our 3 national philanthropies: Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, ANAD, and the DPhiE Educational Foundation.
In support of CFF, we have held multiple fundraisers at Noodles and Co., and donated Tate's Totes filled with toys to the Motts Children's Hospital. For ANAD, we have an annual ANAD Awareness Week, during which we schedule a week full of events related to support for ANAD Association. Some highlights last year were Mirrorless Monday, an 80s Aerobics Work-Out session, and a Candlelit Vigil.

Our chapter is also involved in community service, both as a sisterhood and as individuals. One of our favorite local places to volunteer our time together is Ronald McDonald House. Every year we also patricipate in Greek Week, Relay for Life (pictured above), and Dance Marathon. At Greek Week last year, our chapter came in first place in the Will Work For Food sign-ups!
